Federal Level

The SaMi programme operates under the leadership of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS). At this level, it collaborates closely with key government bodies involved in labour migration, including:

• Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE)

• Foreign Employment Board (FEB), which also manages National Migrant Resource Centre

• Foreign Employment Tribunal (FET)

• Department of Consular Services (DoCS)

• National Academy for Vocational Training (NAVT)

SaMi also coordinates with Chief District Officers (CDOs) to help resolve legal cases at the district level.

Because psychosocial counselling is a core component of the programme, SaMi works with the Ministry of Health and Population to help institutionalize psychosocial support services, particularly those aimed at assisting migrants and their families.
